Fuel Surcharge Calculations for Billing

We are introducing the Fuel Surcharge feature to our Advanced Billing module to enable calculating fuel surcharge amounts based on a percentage of the delivery charge or a per-mile charge. With this new feature, businesses will have the flexibility to tailor their surcharge calculations to match business needs, ensuring accurate and transparent billing.

Benefits

  • Enable your business to accurately bill your customers based on costs incurred for their deliveries

  • Calibrate your fuel surcharge rates based on changes in the fuel price that you pay for fueling your vehicles.

  • Flexibility in calculating the fuel surcharge costs based on % of Delivery Charge or Per Mile/Km charge

Functionality

  • Configure fuel prices and their effective date to be used in fuel surcharge calculation.

  • Define fuel surcharge as either % of Delivery Charge or Per Mile/Km charge and rate tiers for different fuel price ranges and associate it with a customer contract.image-20231013-055028 (1).png

Customer Management and Access

Make your customer management and access more organized with updates to customer management screens and customer portal.

Benefits

  • Ease of adding customers and providing access to the customer portal to create their orders.

  • Streamlined access for customers to the customer portal through a standard URL or a customized branded URL

Functionality

  • Give access to the customers for your customer’s users by setting up their users

  • Choose from a standard or branded URL to allow your customers to access Customer Portal.

Customer Portal Improvements

We have added usability improvements to the customer portal to enable your customers to creates orders easily

Benefits

  • Simplified the order creation process, making it more efficient for your customers to create orders with minimum data entry.

Functionality

  • Customers will have the ability to edit and update their stop templates from templates list screen.

Appointment Scheduling in Customer Portal

We have added the ability for the customers to schedule appointments on their orders from within the customer portal

  • Automate your appointment scheduling process and reduce calls from customers to set appointments over the phone.

  • Ensure appointments provided to customers match with your available capacity increasing your customer satisfaction

Functionality

  • Define whether your customers are required to set an appointment during order creation from order profile.

  • Integrate an appointment scheduling widget into your websites to enable your end-customers to view and choose available timeslots during order booking process.

  • Your customers will have the ability to choose and set an appointment from a list of available pickup/delivery time windows available from the appointment widget during order creation.image-20231106-104635 (1).png

Stop Delivery Cost Estimation

Benefits

  • Reduce customer calls by providing a self serve mechanism for your customers to get price estimates on stops

Functionality

  • Dispatchers will have the ability to provide a manual estimate or a use billing calculation to estimate the cost for delivering the stop during stop creation.

  • Users with Biller or Member Admin roles will have the visibility to the billing estimate on stop details screen and billing reports.image-20231013-081136 (1).png

  • Stop cost estimation will also be available to your customers using the customer portal for order creation. The calculated estimated can be viewed both from customer portal and dispatch portal.

New Algorithm for Route Optimization

Functionality

  • A new directional algorithm can optimizes routes by starting from the farthest stop, reducing overall distance and maximizing stop coverage.image-20231013-083859 (1).png

Stop Creation From PDF Documents

We have added a new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to our platform to automate the creation of stops by uploading a stop pdf document.

Benefits

  • You can reduce manual data entry, save time and improve overall efficiency.

  • You can increase accuracy of data on your stops and minimize human data entry errors

 Functionality

  • A “Create from PDF” button will be available in the Create Stop screen to upload a stop pdf document for creating a stop

  • You can use an existing template that best matches the type of document you are uploading

  • Once the document is uploaded and processed, the OCR technology will automatically extract the stop data from the document populate the fields on the Create Stop screen.image-20231106-114845 (1).png

  • Contact our Support Team to setup custom templates for stop document types that you would like to use for stop creation.

Recurring Routes

We have introduced a feature to create recurring routes out of existing routes so that the routes can be created on a schedule without any manual intervention.

Functionality

  • You will be able to generate recurring routes directly from route details screen by providing the recurrence frequency

  • Any stops within the route are automatically designated as default stops on the recurring route instance and will be created on every instance of the recurring route.image-20231106-121213 (1).png
